Shakespeare Reimagined

The Allen Philharmonic presents a Concert for Young Audiences, a program in partnership with the ALLen Reads program. The festival will take place from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, with the concert to follow, and will honor the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s folio release.  

All the music on the program draws from music inspired by Shakespeare’s plays.  Highlights include music from Bernstein’s West Side Story, Cole Porter’s Kiss Me Kate, and Disney’s The Lion King, as well as some classical favorites.  

This program is free and family friendly.
