About the event
In honor of Mother’s Day, we invite you to bring a lawn chair and enjoy a beautiful afternoon of music played by the winds of the Allen Philharmonic Orchestra.
The first half of the concert will include favorites from the wind band repertoire including music by Holst, Vaughan Williams, and Eric Whitacre.
The second half focuses on pops favorites by composers like Bernstein, Mancini, and Glenn Miller as well as music from Disney and Broadway.
This outdoor concert is free and is part of the Allen Arts Alliance Arts Festival.
