Meet Joseph Kuipers! We’re excited to welcome Joseph to our stage, where he’ll be performing with Six String Symphony as guest cellist for their upcoming performance with us!
An acclaimed cellist, educator, and arts leader, Joseph has performed around the world at festivals and institutions including Aspen, Ravinia, Kronberg Academy, and the World Cello Congress. He’s also collaborated with some of today’s most influential composers, including Arvo Pärt, Heinz Holliger, and Helmut Lachenmann.
Joseph has a particular passion for bringing music from different eras together, and he’s equally at home playing modern and gut-string cello. Based right here in Dallas, he serves as the Creative Director of Texas Cellos, where he leads nationally recognized performance and education programs.
